Training
When I introduced the language and thinking of neurolinguistic programming into my school, it was the difference that made the difference.
Teachers and students became more optimistic, achievement went up, conflict went down, student and teacher absence from school reduced.
Students started to really own the belief that they were responsible for their learning. And the practitioners I trained were able to support students to manage their emotions, create personalised goals and feel more empowered.
Adapting the behaviour policy, delivering whole-staff CPD and training NLP practitioners, created a whole school focus to embed an optimistic mindset. As a school, we underpinned every conversation with positive language, for example simply changing the word ‘warning’ to ‘reminder’, or ‘difficult’ to ‘solvable’. Such small changes had a huge impact and created an environment in which students could feel valued, build resilience and achieve personal excellence.
Imagine your school radiating even more positivity, passion and possibility
Improve communication
Learning NLP improves self-understanding, your ability to self-regulate and your ability to build rapport with others, vital communication skills for relationship building.
Build strong relationships
And a recent analysis of school research showed that it is those strong relationships that make a difference in both the short- and long-term to practically every measure schools care about: student engagement, attendance, results, and behaviour.
Support well being
Research also shows that physically and emotionally exhausted teachers struggle to sustain strong relationships with students and therefore staff wellbeing is important to the success of any strategy to build quality relationships with students.
Reduce stress
After NLP training, staff were able to reduce conflict in class, experienced less stress and felt less overwhelmed. This was reflected in improved student attendance of 0.4% and improved staff attendance that reduced the cost of supply staff by £5,000.
Three ways I can support you
CONSULTING
I can work with your pastoral team to create a behaviour policy and procedures that promote calm and responsibility and work with our brain patterns.
I can further support the implementation of NLP into the school through training, teacher coaching, and focus groups and working with your wellbeing lead.
WORKSHOPS
You know where your school could most benefit from reframing mindset and language.
I offer workshops on behaviour management, relationship building, confidence, stress management and resilience - workshops that allow staff to feel confident and help students access a peak learning state and create a positive environment in which students can thrive.
CERTIFIED NLP
PRACTITIONER COURSE
Why not fully certify your staff with all the skills of NLP that I have packaged specifically for educational settings?
Fully certified practitioners can work one-to-one with students to help them create empowering beliefs, relieve anxiety, improve attendance at school, develop effective learning strategies, focus in class and manage their motivation. The six-day course can be delivered at your school or trust or you can book a place on one of the dates I offer in London or York.

The use of NLP has transformed our school
“We have always prided ourselves on being a positive school with a strong sense of community. By collectively following NLP approaches we have really managed to live and breathe our values across the school, reinforcing our positive approach to all members of our community.
Caroline skilfully wove NLP throughout all aspects of our school behaviour system, from using language for praise and to influence learning to reflective conversations and interventions with students who were removed from lessons.
In addition to these whole-school approaches, there are numerous examples of individual staff and students who have had their lives changed through collapsing anchors and visualising success. Classes, students and parents who once caused stress and anxiety in colleagues can now be approached with a sense of calm purpose that allows learning to take place.
The transformation of our community has also led to tangible improvements in attendance, behaviour and academic data across the academy.”
